Farm Fresh Raw Milk

Any time spent above 40 F will shorten the shelf-life of milk and the amount of time the milk is kept above this temperature will affect how much the quality of the milk is affected. Please bring a cooler and cold packs when you come to pick up your milk.
Store your milk in the coldest part of the refrigerator.
Don’t leave your milk sitting on the counter. Pour what you need and put the container back in the fridge.
Buy only as much fresh raw milk as your family consumes between trips to the farm. If you have extra raw milk, you can freeze it to preserve freshness.

Home Pasteurization

Even the highest quality raw milk can carry harmful bacteria. The health risks are greatest for infants and children, senior citizens, pregnant women and those with weakened immune systems. It’s easy to pasteurize milk at home.
